SPID Rotators
This rotators are a medium to heavy duty antenna rotator in the same general class as the HyGain TailTwister or Yaesu G-1000/2800 but with advanced digital features. It is priced well under these and other competing rotators. Mechanical complexity is reduced to a minimum by utilizing a simple double worm gear drive system.
Position readout is sensed by a magnetic reed switch or Hall sensors in our /HR rotor range and Absolute encoders in the new /ABS rotor range.
All SPID controllers do have standard build in a track interface to track your object (USB)

Last update: September 2024
We've received reports of USB connection issues between Rot2 and Windows PCs with PST Rotator installed:
Some users have been successfully using the Spid Rot2Prog controller for lot of years.
However, recently, the Rot2Prog controller has stopped establishing a USB connection with PST Rotator.
While manual operation still works, this isn't the intended behavior.
Possible Solution:
To troubleshoot this issue, we recommend comparing your current settings to a known-working configuration.
It's possible that a recent, unintended change in PST Rotator may be causing the problem.
In the 'Communication' menu of PST Rotator, there are three options at the bottom:
AZ COM port
EL / AZ + EL COM port
GPS / AUX COM port
Typically, only the second option requires a COM port selection, which should have been configured during the initial setup.
However, it seems that, possibly after a Windows update, COM ports were inadvertently selected for the other two options as well.
When I reset these two options back to "no COM," the connection was restored.
This is quite perplexing, as computers aren't known for making arbitrary changes on their own.
It appears this particular PC may have developed a mind of its own!
Computers, always keeping us on our toes!
