SPX X/Y rotors are designed for rotating in X/Y plane.
In this case fast rotation possible, 6 Degree / sec is standard
Each SPX X/Y rotor is supplied incl controller and software to rotate in the X/Y plane

SPID created new software to drive SPX X/Y rotators
The MD-01 or MD-02 controllers are supplied incl X/Y convert software
With this option you can control a X/Y rotor by using Azimuth and Elevation tracking software
Connect the MD-0X controller to you PC, install you favorite track program, sent the AZ and EL data to the controller, this will drive the X/Y rotor
The advantage is that an X/Y rotor has a much faster rotation possibility, 6 degrees / sec is standard rotation speed.
